Duke Orthopedic Surgery seeks an experienced, academically oriented, BE/BC orthopedic surgeon fellowship trained in Adult Spine to join its full time faculty. Applicants should be committed to excellent patient care, as well as teaching, scholarship, and research. Teaching responsibilities include interactions with medical students, residents, fellows and trainees in multiple departments. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Excellent research infrastructure in all disciplines is available.
Selected candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team of specialists in Duke's Spine Division, a collaboration between the departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Surgery, led by Christopher Shaffrey, MD, FACS.
