The UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting an orthopaedic surgeon with pediatric orthopedic surgery subspecialty and basic or translational research expertise who has and/or will be completing a pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship.
The clinical practice will provide diagnostic, interventional, and surgical management for patients with a variety of diagnoses, with a focus on general pediatric orthopedic surgery and pediatric orthopedic trauma. The applicant will be based at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland as well as various sites in the Bay Area where pediatric orthopedic conditions are treated. The selected individuals will also be responsible for and provide an integral role to teach clinically relevant topics for residents as well as medical students and fellows. Both didactic and bedside teaching is required, and participation in medical student, resident, and fellow education is highly encouraged.
