Job Summary: The Department of Orthopedics is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to oversee the Orthopedic Trauma Research program at the University of Wisconsin. A primary responsibility is to coordinate multiple, ongoing multi-center clinical research studies with extra-mural funding. The coordinator will be chiefly responsible for consenting and enrolling patients for research studies and ensuring study endpoints are met including research follow-ups. The coordinator will also assist with providing data to study sponsors, and dissemination of research findings. The coordinator will work closely with orthopedic trauma surgeons who conduct clinical research. The position also involves basic research administration tasks within the department, including supporting and training medical students and orthopedic residents participating in orthopedic trauma research projects.
