Interventional Physiatrist

OrthoCarolina is recruiting for a BC/BE Physiatrist, fellowship trained in Interventional Spine or Pain medicine.  Join a 5 physician/2 PA/medical staff established orthopedic practice serving a designated underserved area in NC, halfway between the mountains and the beach, near Charlotte and 30 minutes from Pinehurst Resort. Physician will provide patient-centered care through a variety of non-surgical treatments such as epidural and other spinal procedures as well as some peripheral steroid injections (EDI) and radiofrequency ablation. For consideration, the physiatrist should be comfortable performing fluoroscopic musculoskeletal procedures. Skill in EMG and NCVs is desired.  Ultrasound guidance could be added.  Experience in performing procedures such as epidural injections, facet joint injections and radiofrequency ablations in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine is expected.  There is room to develop a regenerative medicine practice.
