Under the supervision and direction of the Physician Chief of the Foot & Ankle Service in Orthopedic Surgery, immediate supervising physician, APP Director, and the Administrative Manager, the Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for the care of the orthopaedic foot & ankle patient population in the outpatient setting.
The PA will practice in accordance with the rules, regulations and standards issued by the state and federal governing boards, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants (PAs) and the National Commission on Certification of PAs.
Primary Responsibilities
Provides direct care, counseling, and instructing for the orthopedic foot & ankle patient population.
Functions independently in own clinic (15-20 pts/day) and coordinates all aspects of patient care.
