The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics, is seeking a board certified/board eligible orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in sports medicine. Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain a West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited orthopaedics residency program and an accredited sports medicine fellowship by the time of appointment.Responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care as well as teaching medical students and orthopaedic residents and fellows. The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV, the only level 1 academic trauma center in the region.   Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of orthopaedic trauma as well as foot and ankle reconstruction. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
