The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Physiatrist to join our Sports Medicine practice in Rochester, MN. Our Mayo Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice includes eight subspecialty-certified nonoperative sports medicine physicians with backgrounds in physical medicine and rehabilitation, emergency medicine, and pediatrics. The highly skilled staff provides state-of-the art nonoperative sports medicine care and has world renowned experts in the areas of sports ultrasound, regenerative medicine, and concussion management. The department also supports two ACGME-accredited sports medicine fellowships for physical medicine and rehabilitation residency graduates.
This successful applicant will work at the Mayo Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine facility in Rochester, MN. The facility is housed within a 28,000 square foot, state-of-the-art building containing sports medicine physician/surgeon clinics, musculoskeletal radiology, athletic training, physical therapy, sports nutrition, and sports performance.
License or certification
Candidates must be board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine also required. The individual must be team-oriented, highly proficient in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, and eager to participate in sports medicine clinical, education and research endeavors.
