The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a fellowship trained Board Certified, Full-Time orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in orthopaedic traumatology to join a busy University practice at a Level II Trauma Center, University of Maryland Capital Region Health.
Candidates must be board certified in orthopaedic surgery and eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland. This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong and demonstrated commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting. Demonstrated excellence in teaching, clinical patient care, and research (clinical, biomechanics, or basic biological science) is necessary.
Candidates must be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, non-tenure track or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.
