Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Applicants must have a DPT/Ph.D. degree and expertise is required in the specific areas of pediatric orthopaedics, rehabilitation sciences and research methodology.
Teaching responsibilities may include participation in the clinical education of medical/rehabilitation students, residents and fellows.
Clinical responsibilities may include providing outpatient and rehabilitation services to pediatric sports medicine patients in the non-operative and pre as well as post-surgical settings consistent with licensure.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include clinical and orthopaedic basic science topics inclusive of injury risk assessment and the implementation of sports motion analysis for throwing athletes and athletes with anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
Evidence of scholarship is required for the Clinician Educator track.
