Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Pediatric Physiatrist

The PM&R Section in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Stanford University School of Medicine seeks 2 physiatrists specializing in pediatric rehabilitation to join the department. The shared clinical duties of the 2 positions will include coverage of pediatric inpatient rehabilitation beds, outpatient rehabilitation and multispecialty clinics, and inpatient consults. These services will be provided in a dynamic multispecialty environment through two clinical facilities, the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Pediatric PM&R. The positions are offered in the Clinician Educator line with rank determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidates. The major criterion for appointment for Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care and clinical teaching appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
