Job Description
Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates is currently seeking a highly competent, fellowship-trained Spine Surgeon to help grow spine service line.
The Spine Surgeon Opportunity:
- Currently employ one Spine Surgeon with too much volume to keep patients local
- Minimal local competition (mostly hospital neurosurgeons who primarily cover neuro call) Main competition two hours away
- Local hospital capable of complex cases
- ASC Spine Program established
- Multiple Spine PAs to help work up surgical patients
- One to Two-year partnership track
- O-Arm available
The Lifestyle:
- 1:13 call rotation with 24/7 in-hospital PA coverage
- Work ~210 days per year (average orthopaedic surgeon works ~235)
