Administrative Operations Manager II

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the direction of the administrative and financial functions as they relate to the academic, research, and clinical activities in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The Administration and Finance Manager (AFM) will ensure that business and operational processes are efficient, cost effective, and meet University of Arizona (UA) and Banner regulatory requirements. The AFM is expected to actively participate in the development and implementation of short and long-term business planning in conjunction with department administration. The AFM is jointly responsible for the administrative and financial health of the department’s academic, research and clinical operations.
