OrthoVirginia, Virginia's largest provider of expert orthopedic and therapy care, is currently seeking a full-time, Community & Business Development Manager to join our Marketing Communications team! Position Summary The Community and Business Development Manager for OrthoVirginia is responsible for managing existing relationships with referring providers and practices as well as executing new opportunities with other business partners, coordinating sponsorships with various sports teams and partners, managing in-person events, and more in our Northern Virginia territory. Primary Functions & Accountabilities New Business Development: Increase local referral new patient volume Meet regularly with staff & referral coordinators at primary care medical practices, urgent care facilities and other health partners of OV. Schedule and coordinate peer-to-peer opportunities for OrthoVirginia physicians Develop and execute physician-led events such as: community seminars, peer dinners and outreach Work with managers and physicians across the organization to inform process and procedures that drive the business Execute booth activations for professional and community-driven events Community Outreach: Execute sponsorships that maximize exposure and engagement of brand with target audiences Identify and develop strategic partnerships that generate measurable ROI to the practice and Ortho On Call Work with others on the marketing communications team to create collateral and signage for events Work with others on the marketing communications team to create and execute unique physician engagement opportunities through sponsorships Work with others on the marketing communications team to create content from partnerships that elevates OrthoVirginia and Ortho On Call's online presence Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent organization, project coordination and follow-up skills Proficient in Microsoft word applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Demonstrated ability handling multiple projects simultaneously Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task without losing attention to detail Ability to understand overall business communication needs and objectives and apply them to a cohesive strategy Must possess excellent verbal, written, and communication skills; outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree major in Communications or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience 3-5 years of Marketing experience Heathcare or Medical background a must Entrepreneurial mindset, driven and self-reliant Proactive, upbeat, and reliable team player who represents self and company in a highly professional and ethical manner
