Asst / Assoc / Professor Ortho Surg Med-Orthopedic Surgery - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23003402)   Assistant / Associate / Professor Department of Orthopaedic Surgery University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is recruiting full-time faculty members at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level in the appointment (non-tenure) stream. The qualified applicant will be actively involved in patient care; medical student, resident, and fellow teaching; and orthopaedic research as determined by the Chair and associated division chief. Qualified applicants seeking clinical opportunities may find recruitment in the following orthopaedic subspecialty programs: Foot and Ankle Surgery General Orthopaedics Hand and Upper Extremity Pediatric Orthopaedics Podiatry Primary Care Sports Medicine Spine Surgery Sports Medicine Trauma Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited program Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Board-eligible or Board-certified in orthopaedic surgery or their primary specialty Completion of accredited residency and fellowship specialty training Qualified physician applicants must meet the minimum position credentials for the orthopaedic specialty to provide clinical service. Candidates should have a significant interest and ability in clinical care and teaching. Candidates should possess strong clinical, interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills, as well as a history of scholarly publications and presentations, and evidence of interest in and involvement in research. Academic rank [Assistant (0-5 years of experience) / Associate (6-9 years of experience) / Professor (10+ years of experience)] is commensurate with prior academic achievements and experience.
