Job Description

BHMG Lexington Orthopedics Job Description: Under general direction, the Referral Coordinator coordinates referral requests and communication of appointments using general clerical and customer service skills including, but not limited to, organizing requests from multiple locations, obtaining preauthorizations, and communicating status of appointments.  Primary role will be checking out patients, managing a large volume of patients, assisting the check in staff and supporting the overall referral process. High school diploma or equivalent required.  1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
