General Description The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University is experiencing an exciting and transformative period of academic and clinical growth. We are seeking an experienced board certified/board eligible Orthopedic Oncology Surgeon to work as a contributing member of our Orthopaedic team. All candidates must have completed fellowship training in Orthopaedic Oncology and have an interest in developing a robust clinical practice, contribute to research endeavors within the division, and participate in our resident and medical student education program. This position is primarily based at our Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and may be credentialed at some regional ambulatory surgery centers. Examples of Work Performed: The candidate will provide medical services in both the inpatient and outpatient environments. Clinical responsibilities include actively participating in continued growth of the orthopedic oncology programs at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the Baltimore area. Teaching responsibilities include participating in the education of orthopaedic surgery residents and medical students. Research responsibilities include actively pursuing and participating in research activities as well as mentoring residents and other faculty in research endeavors. Candidates will be required to take call at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Administrative and other duties may be assigned based on Department needs, areas of expertise and interest.
