Physician Assistant Needed at Ortho Walk-In Clinic - (3256810) The community division of Mass General Brigham full-time, part-time, and per diem Physician Assistants for our new Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic, located in Lawrence, MA. This is an in-person position supporting patients throughout the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Evaluate patients by performing appropriate history and physical exams Orders diagnostic procedures such as laboratory, radiological and special studies when indicated Performing therapeutic procedures such as, but not limited to, suturing of wounds, foreign body removal, I&D of abscesses, reduction of fractures and dislocations, splinting, casting, and injections Orders medication, both in the clinic or by prescription Documents all orders and medications in the patient’s medical record. Utilizes appropriate skills in accurately and descriptively documenting patient's clinical information, medical history, and other pertinent information. Completes medical record documentation according to practice guidelines for timely completion.
