MUSC Health – Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a full-time BC/BE Thoracic and Cardiac Surgeon for a well-established, nationally recognized group located in Columbia, South Carolina. Ideal candidates will have experience performing all routine cardiac operations including: CABG, valves, aortic work (wire skills preferred) and TAVR. Thoracic surgery will include empyema care as well as lung resections.

1:3 call schedule
Procedures include: CABG, TAVR, valves, aortic work (wire skills preferred), care for post op ICU patients, empyema care and lung resections; esophageal care currently not provided
Access to Cardiac CT, MRI, 3D Echo, PET and SPECT equipment
Designated CV OR, CVICU and Cardiac Surgery stepdown unit
