The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Stanford University School of Medicine seeks a physiatrist to join the department. This position involves outpatient care alongside the Stanford PM&R and Orthopaedic faculty in the Hip Preservation Center and the Arthritis and Joints Clinic. Clinical duties will include management of patients with a variety of degenerative musculoskeletal disorders with a focus on the lower limb.
Academic line/rank will be determined by qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The major criteria for academic appointment of Clinician Educators (CE) is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fill.
The successful applicant must be eligible for a California Medical License and board certified/eligible in PM&R. Candidates with fellowship training in a musculoskeletal subspecialty, including Sports Medicine or Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine, are encouraged to apply although fellowship training is not required for this position.
The expected base pay range for this position is $220,000-$305,000.
This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
