Job Description

This is a new academic research position that will serve as the local site leader for the Upstate Longitudinal Study of Musculoskeletal Development and Maintenance. The candidate will direct and expand this program and will supervise clinical research study coordinator, imaging technologists, data collection staff, and research assistants. The candidate will be responsible for research study design, coordination and collaboration with statisticians, performance of data collection/management/analysis, scientific interpretation, and dissemination of findings. The candidate will serve as the Principal Investigator on Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications and direct and coordinate all activity related to human subjects research for this program. The candidate will develop an independent, collaborative research program related to musculoskeletal development and maintenance using a life course perspective (youth to elderly). Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Biomedical/Biological Anthropology or Epidemiology Preferred Qualifications: > 5 yrs including postdoctoral experience with similar clinical research cohorts Work Days: Salary Range/Pay Rate: Message to Applicants: Please submit CV and cover letter with application.
