The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a dual fellowship trained and Board Certified /Board Eligible, full-time orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training and/or special expertise in sports medicine and orthopaedic pediatrics conditions.
Candidates must be board certified/eligible for certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland. This position requires a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, and the ability to work well in a team setting. Competitive candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching, clinical patient care and research (clinical, biomechanics or basic science).
Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience.
