Asst/Assoc Prof (Hand) Med-Orthopedic Surgery - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (23002103)   Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon Department of Orthopaedic Surgery University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine   The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Hand and Upper Extremity, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the subspecialty of the hand and upper extremity. The qualified physician will be actively involved in patient care; medical student, resident, and fellow teaching in the area of hand and upper extremity; and orthopedic research. Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited program Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Board-eligible or Board-certified in orthopedic surgery Completion of fellowship specialty training Qualified physician applicants should have a significant interest and ability in clinical care and teaching. Candidates should possess strong clinical, interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills, as well as a history of scholarly publications and presentations, and evidence of interest in and involvement in research. Academic rank [Assistant (0-5 years of experience) / Associate (6-9 years of experience)] is commensurate with prior academic achievements and experience.
