This position supports the engineering functions associated with musculoskeletal research in the Hand Research Lab, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The position requires passion for perfecting techniques; dedication to the principles associated with rigorous research methodologies, writing skills in generating project reports, problem-solving capability to answer research questions, efficient and effective communication with the research team, and multi-tasking skills. These characteristics are manifested in creating and following standard operating procedures, providing material support for projects in the lab in a timely fashion, maintaining equipment and lab facilities under the direction of the lab director, performing daily functions of laboratory operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
