The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Professor, tenure-eligible, with expertise in musculoskeletal research. Areas of expertise that are of interest are nerve, skeletal muscle, bone, and intestinal injury models. With the vision of building a nationally recognized musculoskeletal research program to increase an understanding and solve problems of the musculoskeletal and its associated system. The successful candidate will contribute substantially to this diverse research work through outreach and collaboration across the department, college, and university. Additionally, this position will play an active role in enhancing trainee engagement and increasing diversity, including mentoring students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.
