Job Description

Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is looking for a board certified/board eligible fellowship trained MD Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon/Traumatologist to join the largest physician-owned orthopedic group in the region. All candidates must have completed a fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma, and have an interest in developing a robust clinical practice.

Our skilled team of physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physician assistants work together to provide transformative, compassionate surgical and conservative/non-surgical orthopedic care, spine care, pain management, and therapy to patients throughout Spokane, Spokane Valley, Coeur d Alene and the Pacific Northwest.

NWOS offices are conveniently located in Downtown Spokane, North Spokane, and Spokane Valley, with walk-in clinics located in North Spokane, Spokane Valley, and on the South Hill. Highly-trained providers hold the doctor/patient relationship in the highest regard and provide exceptional care for orthopedic and spine conditions, injuries, and trauma, as well as sports medicine, interventional pain management, and physical and hand therapy.

More than 8,000 orthopedic surgeries each year.

More than 5,500 interventional pain procedures each year.

Compensation is between $297.28 and $408.03 per hour

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include payer incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, ancillary income, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery (AOBOS) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.
  • Must be fellowship trained in orthopedic trauma surgery.
  • Eligible for Washington State Medical License
