Physician Assistant

Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center is looking for a Physician Assistant to join us at our St. Mary Medical Center office. This role is in support of an esteemed hand surgeon.    Location: Langhorne, PA Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days/week, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm   At Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, we are dedicated to taking care of you so you can take care of business! Flexible work hours 401(k) Profit Sharing program Employee referral reward program The Physician Assistant Essential Duties and Functions: Obtaining patient information and perform assessments Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures Consult directly with physician to assess the patient's condition and treatment options Ensure that medical charts and administrative paperwork is updated/completed Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits. Monitor patients and administers medications according to division policy. The Physician Assistant Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant required. Experience working with hand and upper extremity preferred. Unrestricted Pennsylvania License Graduate of accredited program for Physician Assistant required. Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to work well under pressure. Athena or other EMR proficiency highly preferred
