The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Department of Orthopaedic is seeking energetic, organized and detail-oriented applicants to join our Clinical Trials team as a Clinical Research Assistant. The successful candidate will work with our clinical & research faculty and staff to serve the research missions of the department, school and university. This includes but is not limited to study start-up activities, subject recruitment, screening and enrollment; accurate data collection, data entry and quality assurance; and regulatory oversight of assigned research studies.
UNC Orthopaedics research staff work closely with Principal Investigators, resident physicians and other research staff and in the various clinical and surgical settings to support our ongoing funded and un-funded research studies as assigned. Strong communication skills across medical disciplines and ability to interface with industry, federal and foundation sponsors are required. Our department supports professional development and advancement of research skills and our clinical research program is based on a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
