Description Position at UMass Memorial Medical Group Physicians Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon UMass Memorial / UMASS Medical School- Worcester, MA   The Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA is currently seeking an academic BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon with trauma fellowship training. Candidates should possess strong academic credentials as well as a commitment to excellence and patient care, research and teaching. The chosen candidate will receive a highly competitive compensation/benefits package with compensation incentivized to benefit productive clinicians. Academic appointment will be commensurate with credentials and experience. Clinical and Basic Research opportunities are extensive in this stimulating and collegial academic environment.  The Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation offers physicians an extraordinary opportunity to work in a nationally recognized state of the art, high-volume practice as part of an American College of Surgeons certified Level 1 Trauma Center for adults and children.    Our trauma team is staffed with fellowship-trained traumatologists.  Our facilities include new, state of the art operating rooms, an Emergency Department built to accommodate over 100,000 patient visits per year, extensive imaging facilities and a life flight service based at our center.
