Academic Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Faculty Position
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Sports Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a leader in innovative clinical care and teaching, is recruiting an academic candidate for a non-operative Sports Medicine Faculty Physician position.
The selected candidate will join our growing sports medicine team in Nashville, Tennessee. The Sports Medicine Faculty Physician will be an integral part of the Comprehensive Sports Medicine Team and must possess leadership skills, experience teaching fellows, residents, medical students, clinical sports medicine including nonoperative pediatric, adult Orthopaedics, and sideline sports team coverage. Must possess a MD or DO licensure in the state of Tennessee or ability to obtain the licensure by the agreed upon start date of employment. The candidate will serve as Fellowship Director of the Vanderbilt Nonoperative Sports Medicine Fellowship program.
Faculty rank and salary is commensurate with experience, plus excellent VUMC faculty physician benefits and clinical pay.
