The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, in partnership with the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, is seeking an individual for VA Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery with time dedicated in the VA and part time at the university academic medical center. The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation is a leading provider of patient care, education, and surgical innovation. We are currently recruiting for Chiefs of the following Divisions: Pediatrics, Foot & Ankle, and General Orthopaedics (General Orthopaedics position is based at the Veterans Affairs Medical Campus (VAMC – West Haven, CT)). These positions will be responsible for building robust programs in their respective specialty and will be appointed at the rank of Associate Professor or higher. The ideal candidate for these positions will have demonstrated leadership experience, renowned clinical abilities, a proven academic aptitude and track record of scholarship, a drive for continued surgical innovation and, will be an expert in their respective field. Academic appointment will be commensurate with experience, and responsibilities will include involvement in clinical service, teaching, and research activities. In addition to the positions listed above, we are also recruiting for an experienced Spine Surgeon specializing in Adult Deformity. This individual should have several years of demonstrated clinical expertise, renowned scholarship records, and prominent research experience. These full-time faculty positions will be based out of our New Haven sites with limited time at other Yale New Haven Health locations (apart from the VAMC based position).
