The Division of Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)/Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the subspecialty of primary care sports medicine.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited program
Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Board-eligible or Board-certified in orthopaedic surgery
Completion of accredited residency and fellowship specialty training
Experience with athletic team coverage required
Qualified physician applicants should have a significant interest and ability in clinical care and teaching. Candidates should possess strong clinical, interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills, as well as a history of scholarly publications and presentations, and evidence of interest in and involvement in research. Academic rank [Assistant (0-5 years of experience) / Associate (6-9 years of experience)] is commensurate with prior academic achievements and experience.
