This position will be located at Hillsboro Medical Center.
Function/Duties of Position
This position will work primarily as a general Orthopaedic provider providing care for patients with Sports Medicine and Upper Extremity surgical care needs.
The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university’s missions and goals of clinical service, teaching, outreach and public service. The physician/surgeon is expected to actively participate in patient care and engagement for growth and outreach to further the development of their community practice, and the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. This position will actively participate in all aspects of the clinical care of patients as outlined by the Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
The Clinical Director for this location, working with the Department, will assign the clinical schedule. This position will be expected to take call, as assigned, with other faculty on nights, weekends, and holidays.
M.D. or equivalent degree/training
Completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
Completion of a hand and upper extremity fellowship and/or sports medicine fellowship
