The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania is accepting applications for a one-year fellowship in Orthoplastics & Limb Salvage Surgery beginning September 1, 2021.
The Orthoplastics and Limb Salvage Surgery Fellowship is a non-accredited training program designed to provide advanced training to fellows at the PGY-6 level or higher. The fellow will train in extremity reconstructive surgery, including trauma, and receive additional advanced training in hand transplantation, microsurgical reconstruction of upper and lower extremities in adults and children, and brachial plexus surgery. The fellowship focuses on both upper and lower limb extremity and allow the fellow and the institution to design a more advanced clinical and research experience in managing extremity reconstruction and salvage. The fellow will also become an integral member of the Hand Transplantation Service.
