Position/Rank Research-Tenure Assistant/Associate/Professor (DOQ) Department 00269 - Orthopedic Surgery Operations City Salt Lake City, UT Track Tenure Track New Position to Begin ASAP Details The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking a new faculty member as a full-time in the tenure track faculty member based upon qualifications. This position requires the candidate to hold a doctoral degree in a life science, bioengineering, or a related area with specific postdoctoral training in chondrocyte biology and or tissue engineering. Primary responsibilities include establishing a research program focused on cartilage biology. The candidate is expected to provide scientific and research support a for ongoing Departmental research programs investigating cartilage injuries and for the Osteoarthritis Initiative Program investigating the genetic etiology and treatment of osteoarthritis.
