The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Musculoskeletal Oncology Lab (MOL) is recruiting a Research Assistant Professor in Musculoskeletal Oncology Basic Science Research. The position entails working with ongoing projects investigating the molecular and cellular biology of sarcomas and their metastases. Applicants must be comfortable with mentoring residents and students of all levels.
Ph.D. in the biological sciences or a closely related degree
Experience with contemporary cellular and molecular biology techniques
Experience with animal models and cancer (mandatory)
Grant-writing ability (mandatory)
Prior experience in sarcoma research (desirable but not mandatory)
