Job Description

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (http://ortho.ucsd.edu/) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. We are seeking a research scientist or clinician-scientist who has a cutting-edge, translational research program in musculoskeletal physiology and disease. Responsibilities include: directing a successful research program, engaging teaching in the classroom and laboratory training of UCSD undergraduate, graduate, and medical students, and residents, and service to the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The appropriate series and appointment will be at the Assistant Professor Rank based on candidate's experience and qualifications. Series will include Ladder Rank and In-Residence with secured extramural funding.
