The perfect job for an up-and-coming, administrator on the rise. Directs operations in Dept-run clinic(s) and serves as the first-line liaison with Hospital-run clinics. Administers the Department’s Outreach and Athletic Training activities, building positive relationships with our outside partners and their staff. Ensures that contracts are in place and up to date with partners. Prepares reports documenting outreach activities and successes. Manages special programs such as Motion Analysis capture. Advises the Sr. Dept Administrator and Marketing & Communications Coordinator of needs and opportunities for marketing support of clinical activities. Directs Departmental Research activities, coordinating with Faculty and research staff. Serves as the Department’s main link with the IRB, Clinical Trials Unit (CTU), Grants Accounting, and TU Research Administration.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with multiple groups independently and concurrently.
Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of directly related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA/MPH
• Experience in an Academic Medical Center setting
• Experience in clinic operations
• Understanding of or experience with physician billing
