Summary Baylor College of Medicine at Christus Children's Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Division of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery. The APP will work under a delineation of clinical privileges and works collaboratively with other members of the health care team, including the attending physicians, resident physicians, and fellow physicians to provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Practicing under established guidelines and clinical protocols, the APP assumes independent and interdependent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of treatment and procedures. Job duties are performed in a manner that is appropriate for the ages of patients served. Summary Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine are seeking a full-time, board eligible and/or board certified, fellowship trained pediatric orthopedic hand surgeon to join their team of well-respected surgeons. In addition to providing the full spectrum of pediatric orthopedic surgery care this surgeon will also participate in call.  Full participation in the education programs of the Department in coordination with the Chief of the Division of Orthopedic Surgery will also be expected.  This position will be based primarily at the Texas Children's Hospital West campus.   Minimum Education: M.D. Successful completion of the ACGME Orthopedic Surgery Residency Successful completion of a Hand Surgery Fellowship and Pediatric Hand/Upper Extremity Fellowship   Minimum Certification/Licensure: Board certified / board eligible by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
